Cantref Adventure Farm prides itself on it's programme of hands on and interactive shows. We have shows every half an hour throughout the day to entertain the children. Our shows change seasonally.

From Easter 2022 until the Summer Holidays we have everyones favourite show bottle feeding lambs. During the Summer Holiday 2022 we change to bottle feeding kid goats which then runs for the rest of the year.

A favourite with the adults is our pig racing show which runs from May Bank Holiday Weekend until the end of November.

Our Tractor and Trailer Ride runs from Easter until the end of October Half Term and is a great way to see some of our larger animals such as our Water Buffalo, Llamas, Alpacas, Guanacos, Cows, a variety of rare Breeds of Sheep such as Jacob and Balwen, Shetland Ponies and Donkeys. On our Tractor Ride there is a live commentary so you can learn more about the animals you see and even some corny jokes thrown in too. The views of the Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains are absolutely spectacular!

In our big animal barn in the spring we bring in our sheep for lambing and if you time your visit right you might be lucky enough to see a lamb being born. In the summer we have a variety of animals to see such as goats, shetland ponies and cows. This is also the location you can meet Blue the Dinosaur and Spirit the Unicorn. We also have our outdoor animal enclosures and pig sty.

If you want your children to get a hands on experience with the small animals in the pet barn you can book a private VIP small animal encounters experience. Children get the chance to stroke rabbits and hold guinea pigs. Other animals include chinchillas, rats, gerbils, degus, ferrets, terrapins and lovebirds. Sometimes we have baby chicks or ducklings to meet too.

For children who want to get their first taste of horse riding we offer Horse Riding in the on-site Riding Centre. For children under 4 they can get the opportunity to have a Pony Rides in our Pamper Pony VIP Experience which includes a beautiful rosette to take home to remind them of their fun filled family day out in the Brecon Beacons.

Our Mr Ev's mini panto changes throughout the year and is themed for the season whether it is Easter, Summer, Halloween or Christmas. In this show cheeky Mr Ev's gets up to mishcief and is usually joined by some of our animals such as Brydie the pig or Chloe the shetland pony. There is always a chance for the kids to join in and get up and dance.

We have a great entertainment team who work hard to ensure every child visiting the farm park has great fun, learns something new and goes home tired out from their day out.
