Cantref Adventure Farm has been independently assessed by consultants KIWA as part of the National Farm Attractions Network (NFAN) Animal Attraction Assurance Scheme (AAAS). This recognised safety standard helps ensure that attractions where visitors interact with animals operate responsibly and follow best practice for visitor safety, hygiene and animal welfare.
The scheme requires attractions to comply with a recognised code of practice, providing reassurance that animal experiences are carefully managed and operated safely.
For visitors, this means activities such as meeting farm animals or bottle feeding lambs are organised with clear guidance, appropriate hygiene measures and careful supervision by our experienced team.
Only around a third of farm parks in the UK hold the AAAS safety standard, making it an important mark of reassurance for families choosing where to visit.
At Cantref, the safety of our visitors and the wellbeing of our animals are incredibly important to us, which is why we are proud to operate in line with these recognised industry standards.
