The Big Animal Barn offers educational and fun opportunities for visitors of all ages to learn about animal care and farming life.

Meet the Farm Animals in our Big Animal Barn

The animals in the Big Animal Barn change throughout the year. It is usually home to some of our goats. You might see a cow and calf or some curious alpacas or friendly shetland ponies.

In the Spring this is also our maternity suite where, if you time your visit right, you might even see a lamb being born!

The barn is under cover so this all-weather attraction is a great way to see the animals and enjoy a fun filled family day out near Brecon whatever the weather!

Shows in our Big Animal Barn

Discover the magic of the Big Animal Barn! Meet our friendly farmyard favourites and enjoy exciting shows throughout the year. Get up close with adorable lambs, learn about sheep shearing, and even help feed our cheeky goats! Meet mythical creatures like Blue the Velociraptor and Spirit the Unicorn, or experience the thrill of pony grooming. Our interactive activities offer a fun and educational experience for everyone.
