	The opening of the sledge ride with MP Roger Williams, Owner Gwen Evans and the director of Welsh Tourism, Jonathon Jones.     Cantref Adventure Farm opened its brand new attraction at the end of July 2006. It was opened by Jonathon Jones and local MP Roger Williams. It was a great day with the HTV Wales doing their weather forecasts from the bottom of the slide. A great day was had by all! The slide is over 100m long and will be Europe's longest sledge ride. The sledge works in a similar way to a snow sledge ride in that you sit on a plastic sledge and go down a slope. Where it differs is that we have a plastic surface and a profesionally designed slope, for maximum enjoyment and thrills all year round. YOU CAN HAVE AS MANY TURNS AS YOU LIKE.
